UPDATE (Tuesday, April 17, 2018, 12:15 p.m.): Gopher Baseball’s Tuesday game with South Dakota State will be made up next Wednesday, April 25 at 6:00 p.m. at Siebert Field.
MINNEAPOLIS – Unseasonal weather has cost the Gopher Baseball team another game from its schedule this week as the planned Tuesday home, outdoor opener against South Dakota State has been postponed due to field conditions. A make-up date is to be determined.
No. 25 Minnesota (23-10, 7-1 Big Ten) already lost its Sunday outing at Purdue due to rain in West Lafayette earlier this week. The Gophers will now hope to open Siebert Field for the 2018 season this weekend as the team is scheduled to welcome Iowa to Minneapolis for a three-game Big Ten series.
Tickets will be honored at any future regular season home game at Siebert Field this season and are subject to availability. Please contact 612-624-8080 with questions. Stay tuned to GopherSports.com and our social channels for schedule and weather updates throughout the season.
