BTN To Televise Four Regular Season Games
May 5th game at Target Field will be televised on BTN

Feb. 16, 2012

The Big Ten Conference announced Thursday that four University of Minnesota games will be televised on the Big Ten Network this spring. Times have also been adjusted due to a live broadcast in three of the four games. Minnesota’s first televised game will be on April 8 at Ohio State. Originally scheduled for a 12:05 p.m. CT start, the Gophers and Buckeyes will now play at 11:05 a.m., in Columbus, Ohio. Minnesota then hosts Iowa on April 29. Originally scheduled for a 1 p.m. start, the home game is now scheduled for 3 p.m. The May 5 game at Target Field against Penn State can be found on BTN, while the Thursday May 17 road contest at Illinois will also be televised. The Illini game will now begin at 6:30 p.m., instead of the original 6:05 p.m, start.

Minnesota also has free audio available for every home and road game this season, including tomorrow's season opener against Louisville. All home games with the exception of the BTN broadcasts and the Kansas game (3/10/12), have video access and can be found through Gopher All-Access on gophersports.com.
