High School: Graduated from La Cresent High School in 2012 named an All-State selection both his senior and junior years held a single-season .495 batting average, 22 runs batted in, two home runs in 99 at bats and stole 35 bases Under-Armor Preseason All-American as a junior Winona Daily News Player of the Year as a junior when he hit .457 with 43 hits and scored 40 runs in 29 games LaCresent's career leader, with 30 stolen bases as a freshman, 33 as a sophomore, and 25 as a junior four-time all-conference selection helped lead La Crescent baseball to a Class AA state championship (2009), a state runner-up and three state appearances finished his high school career as a 13-time letterwinner (four in baseball, four in hockey and five in football) also all-conference selections in both football and hockey and played for the La Crescent Legion Team also on the football all-state academic team.
