2012 SENIOR SEASON: Letterwinner missed a majority of the season due to a nagging wrist injury that sidelined him from the second week of the season until the final game of the 2012 campaign made 19 appearances and started six games for the Gophers honored with David Chelesnik award for persevering over a season-shortening wrist injury had .200 batting average with one home run, one double, two RBI, four hits, and four runs started season with .333 batting average after going 1-for-3 with one home run against Louisville (2/17) in another start against The Citadel, had one run and one walk with one at bat ended career with a career-high three hits and went 3-for-4 with one run scored, one RBI, and one double at Illinois (5/19).
2011 JUNIOR SEASON: Batted .220 with nine runs, three doubles, one triple, one home run and 14 RBI played in 38 games and started in 25 as an outfielder in the first game of the season against St. John's (2/18), came in to pinch hit and hit a triple and a run scored hit a home run, went 2-for-4 with two RBI and a run in the 7-1 win over Delaware State (2/27) went 2-for-3 against South Alabama (3/4) had an RBI and went 2-for-2 in the 8-1 win over Gonzaga (3/11) had a double and went 1-for-4 with a run scored had a career-high four RBI, 3-for-4 and a run in the 9-4 win over Cal Poly on March 27 in the Big Ten opener against Purdue on April 1, went 1-for-2 with a double and run scored had two RBI in the 7-4 win over Northwestern on April 16 went 2-for-3 with three runs and a RBI in the 8-5 win over North Dakota State (5/17).
2010 SOPHOMORE SEASON: Batted .310 with 16 runs, seven doubles, 19 RBI and two home runs went 1-for-2 with one RBI, stolen base, two walks, and a run scored in the season opener against Akron on Feb. 19 was 1-for-2 with a double and an RBI against St. Thomas on March 10 went 3-for-3 with a double and two RBI against Michigan State on April 9 was 2-for-2 against Northwestern on April 18 after entering the game as a pinch-hitter went 2-for-3 with two RBI, two runs scored, a double and his first career home run against No. 20 Kansas State on May 4 was 2-for-3 with a walk-off two RBI single in the bottom of the ninth inning to complete a late-game rally for the Golden Gophers went 3-for-4 with a run against Indiana on May 27 in the Big Ten Tournament.

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Forest Lake High School coached by fo mer Golden Gopher player Brian Raabe named Honorable- Mention All-State as a senior was named All-Conference in 2006 and 2007 was an Honorable-Mention All-Conference honoree in 2005 won conference titles in sophomore and junior and senior season also named All-Conference in football in 2005 and 2007 played in the Lyons Tournament in 2007 and the East vs. West showdown in 2007.
PERSONAL: Sports management major son of David and Tara Schultz lists most memorable sports moment as throwing a no-hitter in his junior season of high school certified in scuba diving and likes to fish in spare time born on August 25, 1988.
