The Gophers’ Paul Fortin Scholar-Athlete • Academic All-Big Ten • played in seven games and had nine at-bats • saw time at second and short and as a pinch hitter.
2014 • JUNIOR SEASON:
Made seven starts, all at second or short • appeared in a total of 23 games and hit • reached base in nine straight contests • got on base at a .359 clip • batted .182 in 11 Big Ten at-bats • had a pinch hit sac-fly in a win over Louisiana Tech (3/2) • reached base three times and scored a run at Saint Mary's College (3/19) • had a pinch hit single against Michigan (4/5) • went 1-4 in a start at Iowa (4/20) • had an RBI and run scored in a home game against Augsburg (5/6) • walked twice in three plate appearances at Indiana (5/16) • entered as a pinch runner in both of the Gopher's Big Ten Tournament games (5/21-22) • Academic All-Big Ten.
