2015 • JUNIOR SEASON: Made 15 appearances, including eight starts • held a 4-3 record and 4.53 ERA in 49.2 innings • struck out 38 batters, walked 32 and limited opponents to a .222 average • Academic All-Big Ten. 2014 • SOPHOMORE SEASON: Did not allow an earned run in his first eight appearances • led the team with six saves and six wins (6-4 record) • led the team with 21 appearances •ranked seventh in the Big Ten in saves overall, and tied for fourth with four within conference play • had a 2.62 ERA and 42 strikeouts in 44.2 innings • held Big Ten hitters to a .233 batting average • overall opposing average of .231 ranked ninth in the conference • tallied a season-high four strikeouts in 3.0 innings against Northern Illinois (2/14) • did not allow a run, while striking out three in 3.2 innings at Louisiana Tech (3/1) • picked up a three-inning save by not allowing a run at Sacramento State (3/14) • earned his third save over Northwestern (3/22) while striking out two • entered the game with bases loaded and one out and struck out two batters to end the eighth and keep the game tied at Iowa (4/18) • pitched a total of 4.2 innings in back-to-back appearances against Purdue, picking up two wins (5/9-5/10-11) • struck out three, gave up just one hit and got the win in a two-inning outing at Indiana (5/15) • struck out three over 2.2 innings against Michigan in the Big Ten Tournament (5/21) • Academic All-Big Ten.
2013 • FRESHMAN SEASON: Threw 35.2 innings to a 4.92 ERA appearing in 18 games • letter winner • had a 3.09 ERA in 32 innings of relief • fourth on the team in games finished (5) • was the second most used player out of the bullpen with 17 appearances in relief • had a 36:18 K:BB ratio • held opponents to a .240 batting average and .216 in Big Ten play • had five scoreless relief appearances in a row (2/27-3/12) • struck out five in his second appearance as a Gopher in 2.2 innings against North Dakota St. (2/27) • allowed no runs and struck out two in 3.2 innings in an extra innings (10) loss to Texas (3/23) • pitched a career high 6.0 innings allowing no runs and striking out five in a 5-2 losing effort to Ohio St. (4/6) • picked up his first colligate win against Augsburg College (4/16) in 1.1 innings of work • did not allow an earned run and struck out two, but received the loss in 1.2 innings against Milwaukee (5/8) • went 2.1 innings without allowing a run and striking out four for his second win against Nebraska (5/11) • made his first career start against Nebraska in the Big Ten Tournament and struck out three in 3.2 innings.
