HIGH SCHOOL A 2017 graduate of Woodbury High School • played four years and started three as a pitcher and infielder for coach Kevin McDermott at Woodbury • ranked No. 2 prospect in Minnesota and No. 114 nationally by Prep Baseball Report • ranked No. 8 prospect in Minnesota and no. 128 nationally by Perfect Game • named a 2017 Rawlings-Perfect Game All-American Honorable Mention and Second Team All-Central Region • earned All-Suburban East Conference selections during each of his final three years with the Royals program • a two-time All-State selection and three-time All-Section honoree • named a finalist for the Pioneer Press Player of the Year in both 2016 and 2017 • named to the Star Tribune's All-Metro First Team in 2017 • landed on the All-State Tournament team for the Minnesota State High School League • earned Academic All-State selection during his senior campaign • played two seasons of club ball for East Metro, coached by former Gopher Brian Raabe • also played hockey, lettering three years as a forward • selected by the Minnesota Twins in the 34th round of the 2017 MLB Draft.
