2014 • REDSHIRT FRESHMAN SEASON:
Hit .297 with a .333 on-base percentage in 37 at-bats • started 10 games at catcher, left field or right field • had a .926 fielding percentage • hit .286 in Big Ten play • hit 1-for-2 with two RBIs in his debut vs. Northern Illinois (2/15) • was 1-2 with a sac-fly at Sacramento State (3/15) • followed up with another 1-for-2 day with an RBI three days later at St. Mary's College (3/18) • had an RBI single in three at-bats against South Dakota State (4/9) • went 3-for-3 with two runs, two RBIs and a triple vs. Augsburg (5/6) • had two hits and an RBI in a win over Purdue (5/9) • scored the winning run in Purdue series finale (5/11) • Academic All-Big Ten.

2013:
Red-shirted the season.

HIGH SCHOOL:
Played with Burnsville High School and the Burnsville Cobras • was one of team captains in 2012 for the Blaze and the starting shortstop • 2012 Lions All-Star selection • member of Burnsville High School that won the state championship in 2011 • named a first-team all-state and all-conference • as a junior, held a .500 batting average with 36 RBI and 43 hits, three home runs and three triples • sophomore season with the Blaze, Stemper also was an all-state honoree after posting a .375 batting average and 20 RBI in 30 hits and five doubles en route to a state championship runner-up • played with the Burnsville Cobras American Legion Team, including a .420 and 44 RBI with nine home runs, 51 runs, 13 stolen bases and doubles in 2011 • National Honor Society member.
