2016 • JUNIOR SEASON:
Made season debut versus Utah (2/21) and tossed 1.2 scoreless innings without allowing a hit • closed out the ninth inning with a flawless frame in a 13-5 win at Utah Valley (3/18) • started and got the win on the hill after throwing 3.0 innings and allowing just one hit versus Augsburg (3/22).
2015 • SOPHOMORE SEASON:
Made three relief appearances with a 1-0 record and 16.62 ERA in 4.1 innings • Academic All-Big Ten. Game Highlights: Pitched 0.2 innings at Texas (2/20) • went 1.2 innings at Richmond and added a walk at the plate (3/17) • threw a season-high 2.0 shutout innings with three strikeouts in a win over St. John's (3/31).
2014 • FRESHMAN SEASON:
Made four midweek starts • had an ERA of 8.00 and three strikeouts in 9.0 innings. Game Highlights: Debuted at St. Mary's, where he pitched 2.2 innings, struck out one and gave up one run on two hits and two walks (3/19) • pitched 3.0 scoreless innings and gave up one hit against Augsburg (4/2) • also started against South Dakota State (4/9) and Concordia-Moorhead (5/7).
Graduated from Naperville Central High School in 2013 • played for coaches Mike Stock and Mike Ulreich • All-DuPage Valley Conference • helped the Cardinals win the 2013 conference title and go 24-7 overall • a member of the Midwest Futures Games Illinois team in 2012 • played summer ball with the Downers Grove Longshots • won 2010 state football title as a freshman at Lake Orion (Mich.) High School • all-conference football player at Naperville Central.

Pitching Coach Todd Oakes Passes Away At 55
Minnesota assistant baseball coach Todd Oakes passed away today after a courageous and public battle with leukemia. Oakes, who coached the Minnesota pitching staff, was 55.
