Batted .114 with two home runs, one double, four runs scored, and three RBI in 25 games • recorded his first collegiate hit by going 1-for-2 with a runs scored and a walk versus Connecticut on Feb. 19 • was 1-for-3 with a solo home run at Sacramento State on March 17 • helped the Gophers defeat Indiana, 12-1, by going 2-for-5 with a double, a home run, two RBI, and one run scored on April 23 • made his lone start of the season on May 17 versus North Dakota State.

Redshirted the 2010 season.

Graduated from Cretin-Derham High School • named Second-Team All-Metro by the Star Tribune and was All-Conference as a senior • batted .429 with 14 runs, five doubles, six home runs and 13 RBI, and was named All-Conference in his junior season.
