2012 FRESHMAN SEASON: Earned his first letter, played in 34 games with 12 starts and 55 at bats scored 10 runs and had seven RBI held an on-base percentage of .438 with five hit by pitch and three walks produced 20 hits and four doubles made his collegiate debut in the game against St. John's (2/18) made his first collegiate start on (2/25) and went 1-2 with run scored played against Cal Poly (3/17) and went 2-2 with a double and a run scored produced two RBI in the 7-1 win over Augsburg (4/3) was 2-4 in the 6-0 win over Northwestern (4/15) produced five hits in 11 at bats in the Michigan State series (4/21-22) hit a RBI double in the 4-2 win over the Spartans followed up with a 2-4 game with two RBI and a run scored in the 5-4 (4/22) 10 inning loss to MSU started against Illinois (5/18) and was 2-3.
HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated and played at St. Charles North High School under coaches Todd Genke and Terry Ayers an all-state honorable mention selection in 2010 member of the North Stars that went 35-4 his junior year Upstate Eight All-Conference selection as a junior and senior also earned all-area honors standout football quarterback, lettering in both baseball and football AP state scholar and Illinois state scholar.
