2015 • SENIOR SEASON:
Played in 27 games, primarily as a right fielder or designated hitter • batted .256 with four runs and four RBIs • hit two doubles • walked seven times and had a .362 on-base percentage • hit .304 in 23 at-bats in Big Ten play • Academic All-Big Ten. Game Highlights: Went 1-for-1 with a double against Richmond (3/18) • also 1-for-1 at Maryland (3/21) • hit 2-for-3 with an RBI and run scored at Rutgers (4/5) • hit 2-for-3 at Nebraska (4/12) • went 1-for-4 with a run, an RBI and a double against Penn State (4/19) • walked twice against Kansas State (4/29) • 1-for-3 at Iowa (5/9).
2014 • JUNIOR SEASON:
Played in 42 games and made 27 starts, mostly in left field or as designated hitter • batted .309 on the season with a .330 slugging percentage and .383 on base percentage • third on the team with 21 runs scored • had nine multi-hit games • stole three bases • went 2-for-4 with two runs at Louisiana Tech (3/1) • 2-for-3 with a run (3/14) and 2-for-4 with an RBI two days later at Sacramento State • hit 3-for-5 and scored four runs at St. Mary's (3/18) • went 2-for-4 with two runs the next day (3/19) • hit 2-for-5 and scored twice at Michigan (4/4) • went 2-for-3 against Penn State (4/26) • batted 3-for-4 with a run against Purdue (5/10-11) • Academic All-Big Ten.
2013 • SOPHOMORE SEASON:
Academic All-Big Ten • played in 26 games with three starts and 19 at bats • maintained a 1.000 fielding percentage • played center field in all three of his starts • game into the game as a substitute a team-high 23 times • pinch ran in five games, scoring twice and stealing two bases in as many attempts • started in center field against UCLA (2/16) • pinch hit against Dartmouth (3/1) going 1-2 with an RBI • went 1-3 with a stolen base and a run scored in a 3-1 win over Hamline (3/6) • started in center field in a 5-3 win over Western Illinois (3/10) • pinch-ran against North Dakota St. (4/24) and scored run in a winning effort.
2012 • FRESHMAN SEASON:
Played in 34 games with 12 starts and 55 at bats • scored 10 runs and had seven RBI • held an on-base percentage of .438 with five hit by pitch and three walks • produced 20 hits and four doubles • made his collegiate debut in the game against St. John's (2/18) • made his first collegiate start on (2/25) and went 1-2 with run scored • played against Cal Poly (3/17) and went 2-2 with a double and a run scored • produced two RBI in the 7-1 win over Augsburg (4/3) • was 2-4 in the 6-0 win over Northwestern (4/15) •produced five hits in 11 at bats in the Michigan State series (4/21-22) • hit a RBI double in the 4-2 win over the Spartans • followed up with a 2-4 game with two RBI and a run scored in the 5-4 (4/22) 10 inning loss to MSU • started against Illinois (5/18) and was 2-3.
