Kate Taber begins her third year on staff working with the Women's Basketball team. She hails from Wheaton, Illinois. Kate attended the University of Iowa and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training in May 2008. From there, Kate worked for 1 year as a Certified Athletic Trainer at AthletiCo in Illinois before coming to the University of Minnesota to attend graduate school. While at the University of Minnesota, Kate worked with the Golden Gopher Baseball team. She graduated with a Masters of Education in Sports Management in May 2011.

Kate and her husband Brett currently reside in Robbinsdale, MN.
