Cole Peterson is entering his sixth year working with the Golden Gopher Men's & Women's Track & Field and Cross Country teams. A native of Duluth, MN, Peterson remained in his hometown for his undergraduate education receiving his Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Athletic Training from the University of Minnesota - Duluth in 2008. He became a Certified Athletic Trainer following the completion of his undergraduate degree and began a 2 year graduate assistantship at the University of Minnesota working with the Men's & Women's Track & Field, Cross Country, and Tennis teams. Cole graduated with his Masters of Education in Applied Kinesiology from the University of Minnesota in May 2010. He oversees 2 Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainers working with the Track & Field and Cross Country teams.

Peterson currently resides in St. Paul, MN.
