Mitch is entering his first year as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer with the University of Minnesota Athletic Medicine Staff providing coverage for Football, Gymnastics and Track & Field/Cross Country.
Originally from Oakdale, MN, Mitch graduated from Carroll University (WI) with a Bachelor of Science degree in both Athletic Training and Exercise Science, and also played soccer for the Pioneers.
Prior to becoming a GA, Mitch completed his undergraduate internship with the University of Minnesota Golden Gopher Hockey Team in 2015, and returned back to the University in February, 2016 as a Temporary Assistant Athletic Trainer working with both Men’s and Women’s Track & Field/Cross Country.
Mitch is NATABOC certified, a Performance Enhancement Specialist and a FAKTR provider. He plans to graduate in 2018 with his Masters of Education in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Sport and Exercise Science.
