Kate Bockenstedt has been with University of Minnesota Athletics since 1995 and serves as the Gophers' women's hockey equipment manager. In addition to her duties with the hockey program, she also coordinates the equipment needs for the men's and women's tennis programs. Bockenstedt has also served as the equipment manager for various USA Hockey functions, including the 2008 World Championships.

Prior to her arrival at the U of M, Bockenstedt was the manager of the Hockeygiant.com Superstore in Blaine, Minn.

A four year letter-winner in hockey with Concordia College, Bockenstedt graduated with a degree in 2003, double majoring in history and exercise science. Kate and her husband, Mitch, reside in Jordan.
