Entering her 13th season at the University of Minnesota as an Athletic Trainer, Ronni Beatty-Kollasch primarily provides care for the Women's Volleyball team and has sport oversight of Women's Rowing.
A native of Brooklyn Park, MN, Ronni earned her undergraduate degree in 1999 from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. She was a student athletic trainer in an internship program with Men's Intercollegiate Athletics from 1997 - 1999 and became a Certified Athletic Trainer in April 2000. After completion of her undergraduate degree, she was a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer at Auburn University where she worked under the Hughston Clinic/ Kenny Howard Athletic Training Fellowship. Ronni earned her Masters' of Education degree in Exercise Science in 2001. Following the completion of graduate school, Ronni started her athletic training career working at the University of Wyoming with Volleyball, Wrestling, and Swimming & Diving. After her departure from Wyoming in 2004, she worked in Louisville, KY for the Kentucky Orthopedic Rehab Team for one year prior to initiating her time at the University of Minnesota.
Additionally, Ronni has served as a BOC Examiner for the NATA Certification Exam, served 4 years on the Executive Committee of the Minnesota Athletic Trainers Association and has worked various USA Volleyball and Junior Olympic volleyball events.
She holds certification in Graston Technique M1 & M2, Active Release Technique-Lower Extremity and is a Certified Kinesiotape Practitioner.
Ronni resides in Rogers, MN with her husband Chris and sons Benjamin (9) & Quinn (8).
