staThe top-ranked University of Minnesota wrestling team overwhelmed James Madison Saturday night in Harrisonburg, Va., winning nine of 10 matches in the Golden Gophers' second dual of the day in the state of Virginia. Minnesota (5-0) routed Virginia Tech 42-9 in Blacksburg, Va., earlier in the day. The Maroon and Gold has now won 19 consecutive dual meets. Minnesota's last loss came to Oklahoma State on Jan. 7, 2001.

At 174 pounds, Josh McLay got his first dual meet win of his career, downing Jeremy Rankin, 11-7, to move the team score to 38-6. McLay led throughout the match and ended with 1:56 of advantage time. Finally, No. 5 Damion Hahn rebounded from his loss to No. 9 Scott Justus of Virginia Tech, beating Dave Colabella 5-2.
