Home Events Round-Up: Jan. 12-14

Women's Hockey vs. Vermont
Friday, 6 p.m., Ridder Arena
Saturday, 4 p.m., Ridder Arena

The Gophers host Hockey East foe Vermont this Friday and Saturday. Friday is Social Media Night at Ridder Arena. The first 500 fans in attendance will receive Minnesota Gopher touch screen knit gloves. The Gophers are also pleased to host Blaine Community Day on Friday. Minnesota’s annual Skate with the Gophers event will follow Saturday’s game; capacity has been reached and registration is now closed.

Men's Hockey vs. Michigan
Friday, 7 p.m., 3M Arena at Mariucci
Saturday, 7 p.m., 3M Arena at Mariucci

Men's hockey returns to Big Ten action this weekend when Michigan comes to campus for a pair of league contents at 3M Arena at Mariucci. Both games in the Friday/Saturday series are slated for 7 p.m. CT puck drops on FOX Sports North PLUS. 

Men's Basketball vs. Purdue
Saturday, 11 a.m., Williams Arena

FM Acro will be performing at halftime of Saturday's game against Purdue.

Men's and Women's Swimming vs. Denver
Saturday, 12 p.m., Jean K. Freeman Aquatic Center

Minnesota swimming and diving returns to the Jean K. Freeman Aquatic Center Saturday in a non-conference match up against Denver set to begin at noon. Saturday’s meet marks the final non-conference meet of the year for the Gophers before championship season.

Men's and Women's Track & Field vs. Wisconsin
Saturday, 12 p.m., University of Minnesota Fieldhouse

Saturday is a Gold Out at the University of Minnesota Fieldhouse. The first 650 fans will receive a gold Dual Meet t-shirt; fans will also receive gold pom-poms. Minnesota Track & Field posters will be available as well. A DJ, trivia, and bingo will provide additional entertainment. The events on the track kick off with a Kids Run at 12:30 p.m.

Women's Gymnastics hosts Maryland/Northern Illinois/Winona State
Saturday, 4 p.m., Maturi Pavilion

Youth gymnasts can register to receive free admission. Rotary Club members can get into the meet at a discounted rate by using the promo code: 2017RotaryClubMember. The Gophers are also celebrating Lexi Ramler Community Day with the promo code: WGYMCommunityDay18. Fans are invited to stay after the meet for autographs with select team members!

Wrestling vs. Illinois
Sunday, 1 p.m., Maturi Pavilion

Promotions at Gopher wrestling on Sunday include Military Appreciation, Club Night, Faculty Staff Night, and Community Night. Clubs eighth grade and under can send in their roster to gsm@umn.edu to receive free admission. The Community Night athletes featured are James Berg (New Prague), Chris Pfarr (LeSueur), and Skyler Petry (Waterville). Community Night Tickets are available here.
