Indoor Golf Facilities

When they are not practicing outdoors, the Golden Gophers use several Twin Cities indoor facilities including:

  • The University of Minnesota Rec Sports Dome, located close to Bierman Field Athletic Building
  • 2nd Swing's innovative Tour Van fitting center, located near campus
  • Braemar Golf Dome, the largest and longest indoor hitting golf dome in the Twin Cities
  • Golden Valley Chip and Putt, which includes 3,000 square feet of practice space

Minnesota is currently raising money for the construction of the John W. Mooty Golf Training Center, which will allow full swing and short game training year round for the Gopher men's and women's programs. The new facility will be adjacent to Les Bolstad Golf Course on the St. Paul campus. It will include locker rooms, offices and a student-athlete lounge in addition to practice space.
