Gophers Unanimous No. 1 in Both National Polls

The Golden Gopher women's hockey team is the unanimous number one selection in both the national poll and the USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine national poll this week.

The No. 1 selection in each poll so far this season, Minnesota has received almost all of the first place votes in the four weeks of rankings this year. However, this week marks the first time the Gophers have collected all of the first place votes in both polls in the same week this season. Poll: Minnesota's First-Place Votes

The Gophers (4-0-0, 2-0-0-0 WCHA) take their 53-game winning streak on the road to No. 7 Minnesota Duluth (2-1-1, 0-1-1-0 WCHA) this weekend. Puck drop is set for 6:07 p.m. Friday and Saturday nights at AMSOIL Arena.
