AHL: Taffe Among Leading Scorers After Four-Point Game

Former Gopher Jeff Taffe factored into four of Hershey's five goals on Sunday in a 5-2 win over Adirondack, scoring twice including the eventual game winner and setting up two more goals. The forward now ranks third in the AHL with 58 points (18 goals, 40 assists) in 59 games this season. 


The Hershey Bears, the AHL affiliate of the Washington Capitals, feature four former Gophers on this year's roster with Ryan Potulny, Ryan Stoa and Mike Carman joining Taffe on the roster (Potulny also scored in Hershey's win on Sunday). Combined, the Minnesota contingency brings two First Team All-America honors and a a total of four All-WCHA accolades to the Bears' roster.
