An event-filled day at Mariucci Arena came to an end with Minnesota's annual Skate with the Gophers event on Saturday. A sold-out crowd showed up to skate with the top-ranked Gophers.
"We have the best fans in the country, and they show up for every game and support the program no matter if we're on the road or at Mariucci Arena," junior defenseman Nate Schmidt said. "It's nice to be able to return the favor and say thanks for all of their support."
