Wheeler Tallies Game Winner Over Caps

Blake Wheeler has made a career out of making goals look easy and his first tally of the season tonight --  the eventual game winner in Winnipeg's 4-2 win over Washington -- was no exception. 


We're big believers in giving credit where credit is due, and you can't deny the impressive play by Evander Kane to get the puck into the offensive zone and put the puck right in Wheeler's wheelhouse. Wheeler finished the night with two points, having assisted on Kane's goal earlier in the game. 
 

Wheeler and the Jets are back in action on Friday when Paul Martin and the Pittsburgh Penguins visit Winnipeg.
