KFAN's Justin Gaard sits down with Gopher football center Ryan Wynn to discuss video games (Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3), his musical abilities and the Wisconsin Badgers in "Get to Know Your Gophers."

Justin Gaard: "You had your 24th start this past weekend at Michigan State. Is it hard to believe you've started 24 games at the college level?"

Wynn: "It's definitely hard to believe, especially after missing a season with a back injury. Sometimes it feels like I haven't played that much, but when you say that it's like wow. That's like three football seasons in high school, that's crazy how many games I've gotten a chance to start, it's an honor."

Gaard: "This is Get to Know Your Gophers so we care about football a little bit, but we also care about your off the field endeavors. My sources tell me you're a piano player. Where did you start playing piano?"

Wynn: "I started playing the piano in first grade. I was taking lessons through my freshman year here. Football and school got a little hectic so I had to drop the lessons part, but I still know how to play, fortunately after all that time. I did that, and the nice thing about that is I can pick up and play guitar now and I did choir in high school as well. I have been very fortunate to be blessed with some musical talents there."

Gaard: "Is it hard to be a piano player when you're an offensive lineman? Because you guys have big hands, your fingers are huge, how do they fit on the keys?"

Wynn: "Actually big hands are great because I'm able to reach notes that a lot of piano players can't. My little sister plays piano too, she's a freshman, and she has the little fingers, but I can play the big chords and stuff. So I get more nervous when my hands get all smushed up during football practice now. Most guys don't take jammed fingers as a big deal, but I always get worried because I have to play the piano."

Gaard: "What's your song? What's the Ryan Wynn, go-to song?"

Wynn: "My favorite song would probably be the first classical piece I learned and that is Fur Elise by Beethoven, so anybody that's got a little bit of classical music background would know that one. It's probably my favorite one."

Gaard: "This is thousands of people on A couple of last things for you. It's a big week for you, not only because Wisconsin's coming into TCF Bank Stadium, but I understand there's a major video game release that's got you all excited."

Wynn: "Yeah, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 came out today and there's not many things that I get jacked up about as much as football, but the Modern Warfare 3 release is and so I definitely need to prioritize. I have to take care of football here, watch some film, study for my test tomorrow, and then got to get on the Xbox Live tonight."

Gaard: "Would it be better to play Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 if you got to beat Wisconsin on Saturday? What's it mean to have the badgers coming in?"

Wynn: "It's just unbelievable. I can tell you that life just improves when you have those trophy games, no matter what's going on in your life. So getting the axe, I don't even know what I would do for it. It's just amazing, so it's a trophy I just aspire to get. I haven't been fortunate enough to get it, so it'd just be great. I can't even describe it. I probably wouldn't even play Call of Duty for a long time. Actually, I would give up Call of Duty for a year if we do that. So I don't know if anyone's going to hold me to it, but I'll do it."

Gaard: "You get the win Saturday, you'll think about it. That's Ryan Wynn and this has been Get to Know Your Gophers right here on Don't forget 2:30 TCF Bank Stadium, Gophers vs. Badgers, we call it the Battle for the Axe."
