perfect day would be spent boating with my closest friends

What is your pre-race routine?
Wake
up, eat breakfast, hydrate, head over to the golf course, listen to some
hardcore jams on my iPod, warm up, stretch/drills/strides, team affirmations,
lace up my spikes, head over to the starting line, team cheer, show time.

Other than the Gophers, what is your favorite sports team? (College or Pro)
I love
me some men in the green & yellow. Yeahhh, uh-huh, you know what it
is....I'm a cheesehead

What do you miss the most about being at home?
The
home cooked meals and the laundry service.

your life was to be turned into a movie, what genre would it be; what would the
title be; what actor would you have star in it?
Romantic
comedy. I'm not sure what I'd title it....that is yet to be
determined. However, I do know that Ryan Reynolds would be featured in
it....so it would definitely be worth seeing.

you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go?
Germany,
Ireland, and Australia

What was the most embarrassing thing that has happened to you?
I'd say
getting pulled over on my bike for rolling through a stop sign on campus was a
pretty classic experience.

If you had the choice to travel either forward or backward in time, which would
you choose? Why?
Backwards
in time because I think it would be entertaining to see what my parents were
like back in the good ole days.

What is your major? Why did you choose this major?
I
settled on Psychology for a major because I've really enjoyed all the classes
I've taken at the U and they've all been super interesting. After
graduating from Minnesota I hope to attend grad school somewhere with a future
goal of becoming an Academic Advisor.

What
kind of cereal should I eat?

Do you have any siblings? How many?
One
younger sister- Danielle who is 16.

What is your favorite class or professor so far at Minnesota, and why?
Global
History & Culture with Jason Stahl because I loved the way he taught the
course. We read a variety of books about different historical
events and wrote papers on them instead of learning history the boring way out
of a textbook and being tested on it...yuck.

If you could eat only one thing for the rest of your life, what would you eat?
ICE
CREAM!

Who was your role-model as a child? Why? Has your role model changed now that
you are older?
My mom
has always been my role model because she has a lot of good qualities and
values. I've always strived to be more like her. She's quite
the woman!

How has being a student and athlete at Minnesota influenced your life?
Being a
student athlete has definitely made me appreciate things a lot more in my
life. I feel very blessed for all the great opportunities
that have been offered to me, as well as the memorable experiences I've had so
far. I'm incredibly fortunate
to have such wonderful coaches and teammates in my life! I definitely take pride in wearing the Maroon &
Gold. Go Gophs!
