Was in the lineup for 34 games • notched goals in nine different games and had points in 15 of 17 outings • shared team's Unsung Hero award with Justin Bostrom • has scored his 23 career goals in 23 different games • scored goals in each of the team’s last three regular season games, including both games of series at Michigan Tech (3/6-7) • team went 10-4-1 when he scored a point • posted a goal and an assist in games at Colorado College (2/20) and Michigan Tech (3/6) • had points in four straight games from 1/16 to 2/7 • assisted goals in both games of series against St. Cloud State (1/16-17) • had a goal in title game of the Dodge Holiday Classic against Northeastern (1/3) • played left wing on second and third lines • earned his third letter.

2007-08 Sophomore Season
Played in 44 of team's 45 games • scored the double overtime goal and had an assist in 3-2 victory over Minnesota State in third game of WCHA playoff series (3/16) • scored 25 seconds into WCHA Final Five against St. Cloud State (3/20) • tallied 12 of his 18 points over the last 23 games • totaled two assists in 4-2 win over Wisconsin (2/22) • notched the game-winning goal and had an assist in 4-3 win at Minnesota State (11/9) • scored a goal in home win over Minnesota State the following night (11/10) • collected an assist in each game of series at Alaska Anchorage (2/29-3/1) • had a plus-six rating over the team's final 13 games of the season • played left wing on team’s first through third lines • earned his second letter.

2006-07 Freshman Season
Appeared in 43 games, including 28 WCHA contests • had 7-12--19 to rank fifth among rookies in scoring • had 5-5--10 in league games • had three assists on game-winning goals • collected his first career point with an assist in the 7-2 win at Ohio State (10/20) • scored the game-winning goal in the 3-1 win over Wisconsin (11/19) • had 1-1--2 in the College Hockey Showcase (11/24-25) • had a goal in each game of the series sweep at Michigan Tech (12/8-9) • assisted on the game-winning goal in the 5-1 win at Minnesota State (1/5) • recorded his first career multi-point game with two assists, including one on the game-winner, in the 5-4 win over Denver (1/20) • scored the game-winning goal in the 2-1 win at Alaska Anchorage (2/3) • had two helpers, including one on the game-winner, in the 3-1 win over UAA in the first round of the WCHA Playoffs (3/11) • got an assist in both games of the WCHA Final Five (3/16-17) • owned a +6 rating • has 0-5--5 in seven career postseason games • often played left wing on Minnesota’s third line • U of M Scholar-Athlete • earned his first letter.

HIGH SCHOOL:
Spent the 2005-06 season with the Omaha Lancers of the USHL • also played 11 games for the Lancers during the 2004-05 season • head coach was Mike Hastings • finished fifth on the team in scoring last season with 12-23--35 in 56 games • played his prep hockey at Wayzata High School during his sophomore and junior seasons • head coach was Carl Davis • was a high school teammate of fellow Golden Gopher Kevin Wehrs and standout Ohio State linebacker James Laurinaitis • led the team and finished 22nd in the state in scoring with 27-36--63 in 24 games during his junior year • helped the the Trojans to a 20-7-0 record • named AP honorable mention all-state, Minneapolis Star Tribune first team all-metro and all-Classic Lake Conference • had totals of 13-22--35 in his sophomore season • helped Wayzata to a 24-5-2 record and a fifth-place finish at the 2004 Minnesota State Class AA Tournament • selected with the 193rd overall pick in the sixth round by the San Jose Sharks in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft.
