SUMMER 2008 • AMATEUR PLAY: Carded a 2-under par 142 in the U.S. Amateur Public Links qualifier to finish as the first alternate • shot a 7-over par 79 in the local U.S. Open qualifier at the TPC Twin Cities but did not advance to the sectional qualifier • played in the U.S. Amateur Section Qualifier but did not advance.

2007-08 • SOPHOMORE SEASON: Appeared in the Gophers’ lineup in 10 of 11 tournaments • completed sophomore season with the third lowest stroke average on the team with a 75.73 • played 30 rounds, a tie for second-most on the team • shot a 15-over 303 at the Big Ten Championships and finished in a tie for 26th • carded an 11-over 227 to finish in a tie for 23rd place in the Big Ten/Pac-10 Challenge, his best finish of the season.

SUMMER 2007 • AMATEUR PLAY: Played in just one tournament, tying for 52nd at The Players’ Amateur (290/+2) at the Belfair Golf Club in Bluffton, SC.

2006-07 • FRESHMAN SEASON: Competed in 11 of 13 tournaments, including all three postseason events • ranked fifth on the squad with a 76.17 stroke average • played 35 rounds, which tied for the third-most on the team • posted two top-15 finishes, including a tie for fourth at the Prestige (211/-4) • named Big Ten Golfer of the Week on March 2 after tying for 12th and shooting a 2-under 214 at the Puerto Rico Classic • also tied for 21st at the Big Ten Championship (305/+21) • recorded seven under-par rounds and 14 sub-75 rounds • fired a career-best 68 in the first round of the NCAA Championships.
