2008-09  |  Junior Season: 
Averaged 4.3 points, 1.3 rebounds and 12.7 minutes played per game in the NABC Classic • established career highs in minutes played (17), points (6), field goal attempts (5) and made (3) in the NABC matchup against Bowling Green (11/15) • played a career-high 23 minutes at Colorado State (11/22) and also established career-highs with six rebounds and three steals to go along with four points  • scored a then career-high seven points in 14 minutes against Eastern Washington (11/26) • played 11 minutes, scored six points  and collected his first block against Virginia (12/2) • played 18 minutes and scored a then career-high eight points and grabbed five rebounds against Cornell (12/6) • scored six points and grabbed three rebounds in 13 minutes against South Dakota State (12/10) • scored a career-high 13 points and tied a career-high with six rebounds while playing a career-high 25 minutes against Louisville (12/20) • played 17 minutes and scored nine points against Michigan State (12/31) • came off the bench to lead the team in scoring with 10 points while grabbing four rebounds in the victory over Iowa (1/8) • Swatted a career-high two shots and grabbed three rebounds in 12 minutes off the bench against Purdue (1/22) • missed the Indiana (2/10) game due to flue-like symptoms • grabbed five rebounds and scored four points while logging a career-high 28 minutes against Penn State (2/14).

2007-08 | Sophomore Season:
Made one of the most memorable passes in Gopher history, connecting with Blake Hoffarber on a three-quarter court pass with 1.5 seconds left on the clock against Indiana in the Big Ten Tournament quarterfinals • Hoffarber nailed the shot to beat Indiana advance to the Big Ten Tournament semifinals • made his University of Minnesota debut against Army (11/10) • finished with three points • was not in uniform vs. Central Michigan (11/24), Florida State (11/27), UC Riverside (12/1), North Dakota State (12/3), Colorado State (12/8) or South Dakota State (12/12) due to a thigh bruise • was in uniform but did not play vs. Santa Clara (12/22) due to thigh bruise • played five minutes and scored a season-high six points against Nicholls State (12/28).

2006-07:
Redshirted after transferring from Cal Poly.

2005-06 | Freshman Season (Cal Poly):
Played in four games before injuring his foot and missing the rest of the season • started one game and averaged 6.3 points and 2.3 rebounds.

High School:
A 2005 graduate of Mounds View High School • was named Minnesota’s Mr. Basketball in 2005 • Gatorade Player of the Year • Star Tribune Metro Player of the Year • Associated Press Player of the Year • St. Paul Pioneer Press Player of the Year • set the Mounds View all-time scoring record with 1,771 points • averaged more than 25 points per game as a senior • as a junior, averaged 19.8 points and as a sophomore 14.7 ppg • totaled 521 rebounds in his high school career • set the single season scoring record with 890 points his senior season • advanced to the state tournament as a sophomore • team placed third in state as a senior • team was 69-20 in his three years • was named all-state his junior and senior seasons • three-time all-conference selection • lettered six times as a prep (3-basketball, 3-track).
