2004-05 | Freshman Season: Played in 10 games scored his first points as a Golden Gopher vs. St. Francis (Pa.) (12/22) played a career-high eight minutes vs. Coppin State (1/1).
High School: A graduate of Wayzata High School named all-conference his senior season lettered three years in basketball named to the Minnesota Basketball News Top 100 averaged 12.1 points and 5.4 assists his senior year shot .472 from three-point range and .770 from the free-throw line played on the Minnesota Magic AAU team with Gopher teammates, Spencer Tollackson and Miles Webb competed in two National AAU Final Fours National Honor Society member.
Personal: Sport studies major son of Phil (Flip) and Debbie Saunders father was a Gopher basketball letterwinner from 1974-77 and is the head coach of the Detroit Pistons was the head coach of the Minnesota Timberwolves from 1995-2005 mother was a U of M dance line member from 1974-76 born April 28, 1986.
