Big athletic pitcher who has shown the ability to throw 88 to 91 mph, and is projectable to 93 to 94 mph came in as true freshman and filled a vareity of roles for the Golden Gophers as both a starter and a late-inning reliever led team in ERA as a true freshman power pitcher who throw strikes and mixes in a curve ball drafted in the 28th round by the Minnesota Twins will be a key member of the pitching staff this year.

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Mounds View High School coached by Brad Tullberg and Mark Downey named All-State, All-Area and All-Conference as a senior was Honorable Mention All-Big Ten as a junior had a 1.60 ERA in 45 innings of work in his senior season went 6-2 with a save, a 2.60 ERA and 51 strikeouts in 58 innings for Tri-City Red in Legion ball his junior year was named Honorable Mention All-Conference in basketball in his junior year helped basketball team finish third in the state in his sophomore season three-year letterwinner in basketball and two-year letterwinner in baseball.
