2008 • SOPHOMORE SEASON:

Batted .291 with 28 runs, 32 RBI, nine doubles and three home runs • had a .264 batting average with 14 runs, 10 RBI and three doubles in Big Ten play • batted .310, with seven runs and six RBI against ranked opposition • batted .333 with runners in scoring position, and is batting .393 (44-for-111) with runners in scoring position in his career • went 2-for-5 with a run and two RBI against No. 4 Ole Miss on Feb. 24 • reached base four times, and was 2-for-2 with a run and an RBI against No. 18 Tulane on Mar. 2 • finished 2-for-5 with four RBI against Northern Iowa on Mar. 9 • was 4-for-6 with three runs, four RBI and two home runs against Pacific on Mar. 16 • went 4-for-7 with two runs and three RBI against North Dakota State on Mar. 18-19 • was 5-for-9 with three runs and two RBI against No. 2 Missouri on Mar. 25-26 • went 3-for-6 with three RBI and two doubles against Northern Iowa on Apr. 9 • was 4-for-8 with two runs and an RBI in the final two games of the Northwestern series on Apr. 14 • went 3-for-5 with an RBI against Northern Iowa on Apr. 16 • had an 11-game hitting streak from Apr. 5-2- • reached base four times, and was 2-for-2 with two RBI against South Dakota State on Apr. 23 • went 2-for-5 with an RBI against No. 19 Michigan on May 11.

2007 • FRESHMAN SEASON:
Batted .340 with two home runs, 34 RBI, 24 runs and seven doubles as a freshman • third on team in batting average • played in 56 games, and made 38 starts • had a .959 fielding percentage • batted .262 with eight runs, one home run and 13 in Big Ten play • played in 25 games and made 18 starts • batted .386 with runners on base • finished second on the team in batting average with runners in scoring position at .462 (24-52) • went 4-for-4 with an RBI and a stolen base in his first career start against The Citadel on Feb. 24 • was 2-for-4, reached base three times and had three RBI against No. 5 Arkansas on Mar. 4 • was 4-for-7 with three runs and three RBI in two games against UC-Santa Barbara on Mar. 13-14 • went 3-for-4 with an RBI against No. 9 Pepperdine on Mar. 17 • hit his first career home run, and went 1-for-2 with a run and two RBI against Northern Iowa on Mar. 28 • went 2-for-3 with two runs and three RBI at Illinois on Apr. 28 • went 2-for-3 with a run and three RBI at North Dakota State on May 15 • was 2-for-4 with a double and two RBI at Indiana on May 19 • had game-winning hit to give Minnesota a 6-5 10-inning victory over No. 4 San Diego in the NCAA Regionals • after that game, he went 4-for-4 against Fresno State to have five hits in a row over the final two days of the season • named to All-Tournament at the NCAA Regionals.

HIGH SCHOOL:
Graduated from Hill-Murray High School in Shoreview, Minn. • named All-State and All-Conference in 2005 & 06 • batted .469 with four home runs, 27 RBI, 23 runs and 10 stolen bases as a junior • Named the District MVP over the summer in Legion Baseball for the Tri-City Red • was a four-year letterwinner for Hill-Murray in hockey.
