We faced two tough teams today and we battled hard. I was happy with how the 1V8 responded in the second session, but again Michigan is also a very good team. Everyone was so great in having this moved to the river. We had never done a race on the river like this before and I'm appreciative that the teams and officials were willing to do it. We're luckily that we faced them before we went to Big Tens and hopefully we'll be able to respond to it."

Minnesota's concludes its home season next weekend when Kansas comes to town on April 26. The event is scheduled to take place at Lake Phalen in St. Paul, Minn. Time of the race is to be determined.
